Over het boek
Teenagers Justin and Nick, half brothers, have just purchased an old MG automobile. The car needs some mechanical work and with their neighbor, Mr. Colin Chiselword, originally from Great Britain, they set out to restore the car. While on a ride in the MG the boys discover an old car which has been submerged in a river for over three decades. Because of low water conditions in the river, the car could be seen lodged against a geological remnant of volcanic activity which took place millions of years ago, locally known as Titan's Pier. As the boys explore the crashed car they discover the car holds secrets of its own. The mystery deepens when Mr. Chiselword provides some insight as to what happened three decades before. From a Nazi double agent, a man with an obsession for Egyptian artifacts, a couple of sneaky acting strangers, to a mysterious map which might lead to a hidden treasure, the boys and their cousin Christine are on a journey they will never forget. A story with action, intrigue and history, The Mystery At Titan's Pier will thrill and excite any reader with its fast pace and unexpected turns. Will The Mystery At Titan's Pier ever be solved!
