Over het boek
This book of organ solos contain a trumpet fanfare sourced from my first symphony. It makes an interesting organ piece for weddings even though it was originally scored for brass choir.
The Bach Toccata and Fugue in D minor is the most famous piece of music composed for organ. Unfortunately, one had to play it "ad nauseum et ad nauseum" that as a teenager I inverted the thematic material of the entire work, and tied up some loose ends in the fugue thus making an original work which is probably the most played of my organ works. To my surprise few people noticed the difference, but then this is New Zealand !
