Artist, mother, poet, misfit in middle America. I’m new to photography; has been about a year, maybe a year and a half since I started playing around with it. I consider myself an artist using photography as a medium more than I consider myself a photographer. I’ve had no training whatsoever and I think that has actually been of benefit to me. It’s easier to break the rules if you don’t know what they are in the first place, and It’s good to break the rules. I like creepy old toys. I like to make movies with puppets. I do NOT like things that are really slick-in-the-bad-way. I do alot of self-portraits. I have no professional photography experience. When I’m pained or frustrated I make Frankenstein’s monster noises, when annoyed Bride of Frankenstein noises, neither by design. And I really hate pickles. Just so you know.
