A Louisiana native, Kathy Scherer discovered her love of photography while attending Louisiana State University’s School of Art in 1994. She is an artist member of Baton Rouge Gallery–Center for Contemporary Art & the New Orleans Photographic Alliance. Her portfolios include The Society of St. Anne, Bella Italia, From the Seashore, and Pilgrimage – Memphis in August. Katherine strives to create a visual narrative that is personal and compelling and that successfully communicates her interpretation of the environment and experience of which she has been a part in an engaging way.
