Chris Franz (b. 1985) is a photographer with a passion for documentary storytelling. He recently graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he studied Mass Communications with an emphasis in photojournalism. Chris was named MNPA's College Photographer of the Year three years in a row, interned for The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead in the summer of '10 and '11, and was recently accepted to attend the 2011 Eddie Adams Workshop in New York. 
 
Chris lives with his wife and favorite photo subject, Beverly, in Mandan, N.D. where he works on long term projects, community journalism, and most importantly, photographs his personal life.
