This is an exploration of the Steubenville and Weirton steel mills. Chosen from pictures taken during my numerous trips to the Ohio Valley, the book pays homage to the mills and the men who worked them. It is a final melancholic farewell to these amazing structures. Two important places that once were the heart of a region, and will not soon be forgotten.

"Pleasure to me is wonder - the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty" - H.P. Lovecraft
