Over het boek
Pura Vida means "pure life" and this philosophy forms the basis of culture in Costa Rica, one of the world's last pristine, untouched wildernesses. This is the ultimate guidebook to Costa Rica's culture and wildlife. Easily accessible with color photos on every page, you'll be able to identify wildlife at a moment's notice. The book features commentary on several popular destinations including Arenal volcano, Monteverde cloudforests, the beaches of Guanacaste, San Jose, and more. Whether you are preparing for your trip or already on the plane, this book is a must for bird identification, plant and animal identification, and notes about Costa Rican history.
