Over de maker
Retired. 73 years old. Photographs make subjects immortal by preserving little quarks of time. I used to live in Tucson, Arizona from when I was 12 years old back in August of 1959 until my wife and I moved to Oregon in early December of 2009. Still solar bird back to Tucson for a few months each winter. Live in the Willamette Valley the rest of the year. Married to Mary for 33 years. University education was in wildlife biology (BS 1969 + MS 1971, University of Arizona). Books are my drug of choice, an addiction actually. Used photography in my real estate appraisal practice, shooting hundreds of images every week. Not so many these days, but a day of photography, depending on the subjects, will now produce over 1,000 photos with a hundred to two hundred keepers.
