The book, Alison, is a collection of photographic works that explores studio portraiture in the traditional black and white imagery under my professor Jane Camp.Through the process of experimental darkroom photography this series is an expression of my creative thought process and learning experiences.

Over de maker
James III is an experimental image creator. Honing skills acquired by studying under his professor for three years in the darkroom. Under the study of his professor he spent 2 years creating a 115 page photo-book that was inspired by his muse, using experimental 35mm techniques. These techniques had led James to explore subcultures of photography, which he uses inspiration and a learning tool. James is interested in creating visual aesthetics and playing with image creation to create stunning imagery. His exploration of his Queer identity drives him in his imaginary visualizations of sexuality and portraying someones identity different within photographic expression.
