Over het boek
Maine's extraordinary beauty and distinctive culture have been attracting photographers since the camera was first introduced. The photographs in this book were taken between 2008 and 2016 at many times of the day and in many types of weather along Maine's rocky coast, which is dotted with small villages and harbors clogged with fishing and pleasure boats. No two sunrises or sunsets look alike. The fog both adds and subtracts: obscuring details, but adding mystery. The water acts like a mirror, creating double visions.
