Over het boek
Stunning photos pair up with poems in haiku-like brevity to take the reader through a year of award-winning poet Kit Nagamura's penetrating observation. SHIKI is a Japanese word which can mean "4 Seasons" or suggest a tip of the hat to haiku master Matsuoka Shiki, but SHIKI is also a Japanese character which means "consciousness" or "deep perception of sensory information." A powerful collection that reminds us of our connection to the natural world, and how we echo in in.
