Position Summary:

As a Jr. Client Services Representative at Blurb, you will be responsible for supporting customers that request a quote for orders above a specific unit volume or dollar amount. This support will include creating quotes, placing orders, following up with customers on their experience with Blurb, and sharing customer feedback as appropriate. You will work with customers in both the business and author channels, advising them on the value of working with Blurb and how to best use the Blurb tools and services.

Essential Functions:
  • Managing multiple customers, projects and timelines, and understanding the processes of book printing, and being able to communicate that stuff to customers.
  • Share with operations and other relevant departments customer stories, key customer introductions and challenges customers face.
  • Understand and advise customers in the best way to approach and complete book projects with Blurb.
  • Responsible for following up with customers for feedback after quotes are shared, projects are completed, and other key milestones.
  • Responsible for sharing and reporting customer feedback to enhance the customer experience.

Other Job Functions:

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree and relevant work experience

Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A strong desire to help the customer while maintaining good business practices
  • Knowledge of the book printing process, shipping/logistics a plus
  • Knowledge of publishing distribution a plus
  • Experience working with CRM platforms a plus
