Position Summary:

As the Operations Project Manager, you will have two core responsibilities: manage large print-on-demand projects submitted by our Client Services team as well as provide Client Services support to customers with smaller revenue digital projects. Your time will be split generally 50/50 between those two functions. Overall, you will contribute to both the top line and operational success of the Blurb Client Services team.

Essential Functions:
  • Provide Project Management support for Client Services
    • Communicate with global print network regarding Client Services projects
    • Maintain digital quoting tool with up-to-date contractual COGS
    • Communicate with printers about projects (proof books, schedule, and similar topics)
    • Review proof books and provide feedback to Client Services Reps
    • Review files as necessary prior to job submission
    • Review large self-service jobs prior to releasing to printer, reaching out to the customer as appropriate
    • Inventory management and communication: Communicate with Client Services and customers regarding remaining inventory for actively warehoused titles
  • Provide Client Service support to smaller revenue digital projects
    • Provide project quotes and timelines to customers
    • Facilitate “consultation-like” conversations, advising customers of project options
    • Report pipeline activity to Client Services Manager
    • Support Client Services-related roadmap tests

Other Job Functions:
  • Contribute to overall Client Services annual revenue targets
  • Support Operations in general day-to-day management, as necessary
  • Completing other projects as assigned

Performance Measures (how your success will be measured):
  • Achieve target revenue for year
  • Client Services team achieves annual revenue target
  • All Client Services projects are successfully communicated and managed throughout global print network

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher

Skills:
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with both team members and management team
  • 3+ years digital print experience
  • 1-3+ years project management experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and fluid environment – self-starting, self-driven, ambitious and flexible
  • Demonstrate understanding of ingredients for what drives print quality
  • Basic to Intermediate skill level for Microsoft Office required
  • Basic to Intermediate skill level in Adobe Creative Suite products required
  • Personable, outgoing team player
