Michael is an artist and a philosopher. His work quietly and powerfully blends nature, spirituality, science and philosophy. The resulting images remain in the viewer’s mind to be interpreted and played with like a puzzle. The balance of element, color and symbol the result of beautifully executed visual design and conceptual thought.

Golden lives and works in Houston, TX. Golden received his MFA in printmaking and drawing from the University of Illinois, Champaign, in 1989. For 25 years he taught in the Art Department at Houston Community College-Central, where he served as Department Chair and Gallery Director. His work has been included in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including “The Abstract Impulse” at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; Rudolph Blume Fine Art/Artscan Gallery, Houston; Beverly Art Center, Chicago, IL; Project Row Houses, Houston; and Artists Space and the Painting Center in New York City. Golden’s work is in museum, corporate, and private collections.
