I started photography in earnest in the late 1970’s . Moving to California from Toronto at around that same time revealed more spectacular sites including the Sierras and Yosemite.

After two Ansel Adams Gallery courses and further inspiration from such masters as Robert Glenn Ketchum and Ernst Haas amongst so many others, I began to see the world in a different way.

I work mostly in 35mm now, using Canon 5D MII’s, although I drag out my Wista 4x5 on the odd occasion for more contemplative photography.

California is an excellent place for motorcycles and to ride my Harley which has been a passion since 1964 (gulp!).

Thankfully, Kaz also shares this passion and we have had the opportunity to travel all over- HOG rides- Route 66, Lewis & Clark, Border to Border, the Posse Ride as well as NW Territories, Yukon and Alaska as a family with our youngest daughter, Kaori.
