I am a psychologist, therapist, entrepreneur and mum with a passion for writing. As well as working for Barnardo’s, I have set up two writing-related businesses. Write as Rain is a counselling service that focuses on the therapeutic benefits of writing. Young Authors encourages story-writing in children by illustrating and printing their stories. I also run creative writing workshops and story-writing competitions.
I have a passion for travel and adventure. After spending some years living in Edinburgh and then Australia, I am now based in London.
I love reading with my children (aged four and seven) and learning what draws them to particular stories. My aim with The Dream Squad was to combine the realities of everyday life with a magical adventure featuring relatable characters.
