Eric Shepherd is a musician and poet known for his work as guitarist in the seminal punk rock band The Dead Betties. With albums on Warner Music, Chainsaw and Heartcore Records, The Dead Betties have headlined multiple national and international tours and festivals, garnered video rotation on MTV and VH1, and have been featured in NME, Brooklynvegan, Deli Magazine, PopMatters, Out, Next Magazine, and more. Eric lives in Brooklyn, NY with his husband, graphic designer Jose Omar Valenzuela. Together they own and operate 28 Below Studios, a music and art production space. At 28 Below Eric has recorded and produced music for a number of bands including Teen Vice, Tiny Tusks, The Candlelights, The Buybacks, and Action Hero. He performs and has several albums under the moniker White Ribbon Highway.
