Neil James was born in St, Vincent & the Grenadines, in the Eastern Caribbean. He grew up in Bed-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. He is a graduate of Hunter College, CUNY where he studied Film Production & English Literature.
Mr. James is the Writer/ Director of the feature film 'Dungeons & Dawgs and the Producer of "Single Hills" and "Please Pass the Judgement".
He currently resides in Brooklyn with his daughter. "The Day the Balloons Came Back" is his first book. He recently completed a second book titled, "Hi, my name is Lucky".
