I was born. in Rhode Island, brought up in Poughkeepsie, N.Y, attended Vassar College and graduated from Stanford University. I was married for 32 years and had six daughters.
I directed a high school Career Center for 10 years and then obtained a Masters in Counseling at 59 and became a high school counselor.
After I retired, I helped establish a Middle College High School at a local community college before retiring a second time. I spend summers in Vermont.
