Over het boek
This publication consists of 37 BW photographs taken with the Holga camera, a cheap plastic camera and lens, with minimal settings/functions, and which often has light leaks or vignettes.
Therein, lies the beauty.
One only has to think about capturing the light, and
composing the image.
I have been involved in photography since 1974 and I primarily photograph with B&W film. I am "Old School", and continue to do my own film processing and printing in the darkroom. I am currently represented by the Scott Nichols Gallery now located in Sonoma, CA, where my photographs were exhibited in group shows, "Hope Springs Eternal" and "The Golden State". Check out Artsy to view 4 of my images by either entering my name, or the Scott Nichols Gallery. I also have 20 images at " all about photo.com". (www.all-about-photo.com) Again, search by my name. Since 2019, I have had three photographs selected for group exhibits at the prestigious Center for Photographic Arts (CPA), which is located in Carmel, California. My work can also be viewed on several Facebook Photographers groups such as, World Toy Camera Day (my Holga Work), Rfotofolio, and the Visual Conservancy.
