This book is the first installment of my hiking memoirs taking place between 1992 and 1996 At Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Filled with full color photos showing off the splendor of the park. This is also a story of friendship, life discovery and finding one's self. I loved writing it and seeing all the old photos again. I hope you enjoy it! For all ages.

David R. Schuhart - Photographer I have spent the better part of my life hiking, with a camera, looking for the perfect photograph. In 1987, for High School Graduation, I was given my first good camera. From that day on, I was hooked! Spent 5 years in the US Army, capturing photos every step of the way. After the Army, hiking trips & many miles, were what occupied most of my free time... with a camera in tow. Even picked up the nickname "scoop".
