The attempted assassination has left Snow unconscious, while Pan and Samson try to deal with the undead scourge that they unleashed on Ghonsor. Meanwhile, Autumn searches for a way to deal with this new threat. But that changes when the wind forewarns Pan of a threat to the Equatorial Isles. Pan and Samson must decipher what the wind means and save the day, before something happens which could alter the tide of the war between snakes and meerkats against them.
