Colin Rhodes is an artist, author and educator. His books include Primitivism & Modern Art (1994), Outsider Art: Spontaneous Alternatives (2000), and The World According to Roger Ballen (2019), all published by Thames & Hudson. He is a contributing editor for Raw Vision. He was educated in the at Goldsmiths University of London and the University of Essex. He is Distinguished Professor of Art at Hunan Normal University, China.
