Ruby can't figure out why her cat Penny doesn't talk. One night Ruby follows Penny to a secret club and discovers that Penny is part of a jazz band. When some angry dogs crash the party, no one knows what to do. Thankfully Ruby's brother Monty this is there to save the day.
