Piney Wood Atlas is a collaborative project between artists Alicia Toldi and Carolina Porras Monroy. Through a series of regional road trips, they travel across the country unearthing small, emerging and unconventional artist residencies.

This book profiles 13 alternative residencies from their fifth road trip, which took them across parts of the Southeast. It also includes conversations, contributions from artist and facilitators, as well as fun stops along the way.
