Over het boek
Jake Sigg is a passionate advocate for native plants, biodiversity, and ecological restoration. After moving to San Francisco in 1950, he worked as a city gardener for more than 30 years. Later he became a full-time advocate for restoring local native plant habitat and preserving biodiversity. He was a founding member of the California Invasive Plant Council. In this illustrated book he describes his childhood on a hardscrabble Montana ranch, his career as a gardener, and his lifelong interests: conservation, politics, the arts, travel, and other aspects of life in these complicated times. This book is offered at its base price.
