Specimen 14: Human Brain (Incomplete) reimagines songs, objects and fragments from Burke Shelley’s life as exhibits recovered from an unfinished collection. Combining photography, typography, imagined artefacts and dark humour, the book moves between memorial, catalogue and visual investigation.
It is not a conventional biography, but an independent artist’s response to the mythology, strangeness and lasting power of Budgie’s music.
