Don Chapin took the photos in this book while in the United States Army civil assistance unit in Korea in 1951 and 1952. He retired from a career in the Social Security Department in Visalia, California. He also spends time at his cabin in Yosemite. Steve Banfill was the editor and publisher of this book.
