Over het boek
This book contains twenty-one photographs, all taken on a single changeable day in Spring, that form a unique record of one of the most spectacular and fascinating archaeological monuments in the world. Seen in near infrared light, the already strange prehistoric monument of Avebury in Wiltshire, England, takes on an entirely different appearance. The altered tones of the vegetation, the sky and the stones seem to transform the monument into a place that is altogether less familiar.
