Kyle designs lighting and scenery for theatre, opera, and dance, as well engineering the construction of scenery as a technical director. He is currently attending Indiana University at South Bend pursuing his B.F.A. in Theatre with a concentration in Lighting Design. (Exp. Grad. 07/12) He has worked extensively both onstage and offstage including work in lighting design, scenic design, stage management, and technical design. Kyle, a Chicago native, began his work in theatre at age 9 as an actor. It wasnt until college that Kyle found his calling in technical theatre as not only a technician, but as a designer, as an artist, and as a person.
