Over het boek
Between July 21-24, 2011, 16 teams from 6 countries battled in Belize for the right to be called champions of Central American beach volleyball. While Costa Rica reigned supreme in both the male and female competitions, all the athletes are champions of their respective countries and displayed a beauty and grace unmatched on the sand courts of Central America.
Here is a photographic record captured by award winning photographer Tony Rath of the grace of movement; the intensity of emotion; the spirit of sportsmanship; and the strength, beauty and grace of the athletes in motion.
