In 2008 I went to Poland to capture photographic images of the countryside, towns and its people.  I stayed in a small village south of Warsaw called Komorow.  I travelled around the environs of the village, the surrounding neighbourhoods and into the capital city of Warsaw.

I visited friends in Konstancin and Krakowieny but spent most of my time in Warsaw viewing the traditional sites, wondering around and tasting the foods and drinks! 

This book shows a selection of images from my journey, particularly the culture and environment from parts of Poland.  I have tried to include and illustrate the spirit and character of the Polish people in the photographs.
