Are there any cultural activities happening in occupied territories in the West Bank? If yes, what kind of activities and at what level?

The photo project ON/OFF STAGE looked behind the scenes of the International Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival in 2014. The visual artist and photographer Brynhild Bye-Tiller (NO) followed the dancers, the meetings, the performances and other activities. A kind of road movie in search of honest authenticity and moments of recognition with an aesthetic and intuitive approach to the material. The photos she took during the festival are gathered in the book: "ON/OFF STAGE".
