"Letters from Lorraine" is a collection of stories from Lorraine Rhode, who was born in 1919 and lived in Michigan most of her life. She lived on a farm, attended a 1-room schoolhouse, and graduated from High School when she was 16. Eventually she married Charles Schultz and had two children, Judy and Jon. The family always struggled to make ends meet.



Rick and Lori Thompson exchanged letters with Lorraine (Rick's Granma "Lou") for many years, and after she passed, Rick compiled many of the stories and family photos into a memorial and celebration of Lorraine's life and memory.
