Over de maker
Myron works from his home studio on Lake Victoria in Alexandria, Minnesota. During his career he became an illustrator for twenty different book and magazine publishers. Other clients included university sports programs and corporations. During this same time he was invited to teach illustration and painting at a local college. Some of his former students are illustrating for corporations including Disney and Target. Myron paints portraits for private, academic, and corporate commissions. His work is in the permanent collection of two museums and many private collections. His paintings have been in several shows and galleries in Minnesota. Sahlberg’s artwork shows in the National Cowboy Museum's Small Works, Great Wonders Art Show in Oklahoma City, OK, the American Miniature Show at Settlers West Gallery, the Mountain Oyster Club Western Art Show, both in Tucson, AZ and the Miniature Masterpieces Art Show in the Phippen Museum in Prescott, AZ.
