Over het boek
- I was born in June 1951, in Roubaix, an industrial city in North of France. I grow up and work there until January 1979 where I moved to Taipei, Taiwan, for professional reason. In May 1986, I married my lovely Amy who gave us a beautiful son, Julien. I received my first digital camera in 2005 as a birthday present, and a new life started. I am now a full time passionate photographer. I have been influenced by Sebastião Salgado, who I admire enormously. I try also to research into the light, like the clear obscure so popular with the Flemish painter or the bright light of the tropics. I hope that the emotions and atmospheres that appear in my work reflect and express my intimate passion for Asia.
