William "Bill" Hughes is a Baltimore author, attorney, actor and photojournalist. He is also a world traveler and political activist. Hughes has written nine books in all. They are: "Byline Baltimore," "Andrew Jackson vs. New World Order," "Baltimore Iconoclast," "Saying 'No' to the War Party," and "Creating a New Ireland." Also, he has published four books of photos: "The Joys of Publishing," "Celebrating the Ravens' Super Bowl Win," "The Galapagos," and "Ode to Code Pink." Recently, he was in two movies: Matt Porterfield' "Sollers Point' and Joe Tropea's "Sickies Making Films." Hughes is a native of Baltimore City. In his salad days, he worked on the waterfront as a longshoremen. Later, he was Chief of the Litigation Division for the City of Baltimore.
