Over

Born in 1963 in Egmond aan Zee, The Netherlands, I moved to Amsterdam to study Dutch Literature at the age of seventeen. I still live there, with my husband and our two sons.

Most of my art consists of photos and videos that I make on my journeys through town. A bit like Alice in Wonderland, I see extraordinary things in the daily world. I try to capture that world and bring it to life with a small camera that fits right into my pocket. 'Objets trouvés' like in Dada: without editing my work, just by pointing and shooting (but with special attention to framing and point of view), I show the poetry, humour, surrealism and absurdity of life as I see it, hopefully leaving lots of room for your imagination.

I use flickr as website and portfolio, as a sketchbook/outlet for my ideas, as a diary-in-pictures and as an archive for my work.
