A collection of Graphite drawings executed in 2009 and 2010. Each drawing is of a major film actor from the 1930's, 40's and 50's. The drawings are based on studio head shots which were routinely used to promote the idol fascination of their stars.

Mario Muller

Mario M. Muller is an artist and independent curator. He has had 19 solo exhibitions and his paintings are in public, private and corporate collections internationally. Mr. Muller has been the recipient of numerous site-specific public art commissions including the Kentucky Center for the Arts and the NY MTA Arts for Transit program. Deutsche Bank and Columbia University have commissioned his essays on photography. He holds a degree from Northwestern University in Film and he has studied with Wayne Thiebaud, Roy Lichtenstein and Ed Pasche. He lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
