Over het boek
In 1993, reporter David Turner, from England, joined an aid mission to the former Yugoslavia, to deliver food and medical supplies. The trip should have lasted just five days, it became a two-week venture in which he met people from all sides of the Balkan conflict, the devastation caused by the war and saw entire villages flattened by missiles.
