I have always had a passion for the arts. Currently, I am working at the Plains Art Museum in Fargo as a teaching artist. I love working with young children. Seeing life through the eyes of a child is truly the inspiration for my books and art.
I was born the sixth of eight children on a farm north of Rugby, North Dakota. After attending NDSU for design and MSU-Moorhead for art education, I have settled in West Fargo, ND with my husband and three children.
My art is a reflection of my upbringing. (A ~ Apron, T ~ "red" tractor) I grew up with six wonderful sisters and one very lucky brother with whom I share many wonderful and precious memories.
I have completed two books : "Purple Peas" and “Z is for Zebra”. I am also working on three other children's books : "Bubbles", "My Number Book" and "I Love My Toothbrush".
