I have been knitting all my life learning to knit growing up in England before immigrating to Canada as a teen. In 1982 created Carolyn M. Barnett Designs with my hand knitting, then moved to the domestic knitting machine a couple of years later, they are a 400 year old tool in this longstanding craft.
I have knit for many clients over the years of all ages and both genders, also worked with advertising and theatre.
The buttons I use on my jackets I also make and are sold separately on my Etsy shop.
Teaching and spreading the word on fashionable and arty machine knitting is also a passion and I conduct workshops in the knitting and button making.
