What's it like spending 3,137 days OR about 13 years in a Motorhome?
In the fall of 2002, we purchased an RV with the intentions of traveling for 2 or 3 years. At first this seemed reasonable, but travel fever got us. We sold our home, stored our belongings, said goodbye to the kids, and hit the road. The attitude was "there's no place to go, except the next place".
We did have an agenda which included Newfoundland, Alaska, all 49 states, and ALL of "old" Mexico. Yep, a 40' RV in parking lots of Mayan ruins or worse living with minimum or no electricity, water and, gulp, sewer.
Wow . . . but 13 years.
A PICTURE IS WORTH A 1000 WORDS and the map in the preview section tells the story!
Join us in these travels. Our goal is for you to feel that you are part of the travels through photos and some, even entertaining, descriptions of our trekking. We started our Newsletter on the first day (Day One) and from then on our travels took on a life of its own until the last day (Day 3,137).
