In his ‘Troll Period’ J. O. McDonnell wrote novels beneath a shopping mall escalator in Manila. He’s worked at two newspapers, magazines in Asia and published stories in Antipodean SF; Anotherealm; Gateway SF, Umbrella Stories and SFF World. This advertising art director turned copywriter, turned writer’s other incarnations have been: photographer; homeless bum in Albuquerque; IRA gunrunner; PI; bouncer at a gay disco; coin washer at the Mint; Techno Spook (Air Intel); rock/country/jazz Bassist; Tobacconist; muralist in Germany; commercial voiceover actor; on-screen commercial talent, and an extra in 3 action movies (the guy who gets blown away/evil henchman). He and his wife, Marie, have survived nine coup attempts and now work as customer support for Zombie Farm iPhone game app from the Playforge ,LLC,
