Armeane Choksi

Armeane M. Choksi has spent his life studying people, economics, and leadership across both public and private sectors globally. He has more than forty years of experience in international finance, including 22 years at the World Bank, rising to the senior executive position of Vice President. During his time at the World Bank, he collaborated with presidents, prime ministers, and finance ministers to craft economic reform and macroeconomic stabilization policies in Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East.

After leaving the World Bank, Dr. Choksi founded and led two investment firms and served on the boards of innovative companies and institutions in academia, medicine, and the arts. He taught for nine years at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and received the University of Minnesota’s Alumnus of Notable Achievement Award. He has authored and edited several books on Foreign Trade Policy, Economic Liberalization, and Investment Planning.
