She is a doctor of podiatric medicine and surgery with an earnest desire to make a difference in the lives of children. While observing the development of her first grandchild, Laylah, she was inspired to write a series of children's books to assist parents in teaching children how to deal with those "little" issues that arise everyday in the life of a child.
