Gabrielle O’Boyle was born in 1975 in Brooklyn, New York and was raised in the suburbs of New York City. She attended Boston College and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. While New York City has been her primary home for the last ten years, she has also lived in Sydney, Australia and Boston, Philadelphia, and Minneapolis in the U.S.

Gabrielle developed a passion for oil painting and photography while living in Boston where she began to study these arts. She continued her photography studies in New York City at several institutions including the International Center for Photography and the New School University.

In addition to painting and photography, Gabrielle has a passion for traveling and experiencing new cultures, geographies and foods and has been to over thirty countries on six different continents. These experiences have also greatly influenced and inspired her art work.

Gabrielle currently lives and works in downtown New York City.
