Heather Tweed is an artist, writer and researcher based near a splendid Victorian Pier.
She studied art at Thurrock and Exeter, then teacher training at Leicester. After a 15 year stint teaching she returned full time to creating and exhibiting her art and working on projects including Venice 2017, ‘Crossing Cultures’ with The British Council, Cairo, and Circus250 in 2018.
She has been researching interesting 19th Century characters for over 9 years and forthcoming books include ‘Lulu -The Eighth Wonder Of The World’ and ‘Mrs Giacometti Prodgers, The Cabman’s Nemesis’.

I have a passion for Art in its many forms across history and cultures. Currently 19th Century Circus & Music Hall predominate.
