Born and raised in Edinburgh and coming from a family of entertainers,Helene has one sibling, a sister.She met her husband when she was just sixteen and has been married for over 50 years.She has a son and a daughter and five lovely grandchildren.Writing,whether stories or poems has been a part of her life since childhood.She and her husband still live in Edinburgh with her family living nearby.
