Joyce Hamilton-Whitson has been singing since the age of 4. Her actual music career in terms of writing and singing the songs that she and her brothers wrote together began around 1996. She stepped out in faith into her full-time music ministry in 2004 until 2007 when circumstances beyond her control caused her to have to put her ministry on hold. However, being saturated in the ministry during this time period and going through hard times helped her gain a broader knowledge of just how much we ALL need the Lord.

Joyce Hamilton-Whitson (formerly Joyce Vaught) had two children, her oldest child, Brian Michael Vaught passed away due to a rare genetic disorder in 1996. Joyce went through a divorce after almost 27 years of being with her husband. Her son Zach Vaught has always been that ‘constant source of stability’ in her life where family was concerned and has given her the courage to ‘walk on’ even in the midst of life ‘happening’.
